This Mares Scuba BCD has the comfort of a full jacket style BCD without the bulky, restrictive feeling of a traditional cut. It's tightly tailored reducing drag, placing much of the air around the tank, contoured to greatly minimize the feel of the bladder underneath your arms, and creating comfortable surface flotation. The Mares BCD is constructed with a superior combination of 3D Alutex protection, abrasion resistant net and smooth shield fabric that covers the 420 denier bladder.

Mares Scuba incorporated a newly designed quick weight release system to the BCD for ultimate safety. It's a one pull system with large zippered pockets that are sectioned with velcro in case you don’t use the full capacity and the pockets are form fitted to your waist for less bulkiness. The trim weights are positioned for better upright efficiency and D-rings are positioned intelligently with in your downward vision.

Don't forget comfort! Comfort starts with the BCD's Back Protection system (BPS Plus). It's a patented dual position lumbar with heavily padding that you can position to double the padding for increased lumbar support or extend the length of the padding depending on body shape. And continues with a plush interior, ergonomically shaped shoulders, neoprene padded neck collar, adjustable chest strap & elastic cummerbund.
