Return & Exchange Policy
Now take up to 60 Days to return purchases.
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will be happy to accept a return for a full product refund *, there are no special catches or exceptions. All we ask is that you send the items back to us in the original packaging, and make sure that the merchandise is in the same condition with all tags & manuals if included.
1) Highlight or circle the item to return on the packing list or purchase receipt.
2) Write the order number (i.e. - SO-XXXXX on top of page) on the outside of the package.
3) Send to the returns department with the purchase receipt or original packing list and a credit will be posted to your account when accepted by the return department.

Note: You must include the Order # (i.e. - SO-XXXXX on top of page), Full Name & Address with your return. Registered members can review and print all order information in the "My Account" section or this information can be found on your original packing list that was sent with the shipment.
Always review the entire Return Policy before shipping any item.
Note: If an exchange is needed before we accept your return, please order in advance of your return and a credit will be posted when the return item is accepted. If an exchange is requested and the product is not in stock a refund will be issues.
Once your return is received and inspected by the returns centers (usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.

Product Condition Policy
All returns must be made in original condition and include all accessories. Any electronic product that has been opened and/or used cannot be returned unless the unit was received defective. You will receive a credit for your purchase only if it meets the criteria below. This policy applies only to purchases made directly from ReefGear.com and may vary slightly from Reef Gear Store return Polices.
Any product that has been misused or that shows any signs of extensive use may not be returned. This includes but is not limited to products that:
Customers that return Items that do not meet Reef Gears return policy will be charged an $19 processing fee and charged for the shipping back to the customer.
IMPORTANT: Returning a product to our Returns Processing Center that is used and/or not in resalable condition risks forfeiture of product.
* If product was purchased with a promotion the percentage or fixed discount will be deducted from the item returned.
Packing & shipping instructions
Include all original packing materials, manuals and accessories with the product to avoid any additional fees.
Include a copy of the purchase receipt, packing list or Return Form with your product and indicate the reason for the return. We recommend you return items via USPS Priority Mail for proof of delivery. We also recommend that you reuse the original shipping carton and packing materials.
We will cover all reasonable and customary ground shipping fees if the product was damaged, defective, or the wrong item was shipped. You must first call (972) 353-3700 for special instructions.
If the product was not damaged, defective or the wrong item was shipped, you are responsible for all shipping charges.
Please do not return items COD. COD items will not be accepted.
Only like kind exchanges or product with a greater value qualify for an exchange.
Our orders are processed on a first come first serve basis, so if the product is not in stock when the return is process a refund will be issued to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 days. To be assured your product is in stock, we ask that you order the replacement first and then return your product for a full refund.

Clearance Sale Terms:
Occasionally Reef Gear has great quality products at unbeatable deals. These products may be last years styles, discontinued colors or we just goofed and ordered too many. Either way, we get to pass on the savings to our Reef Gear family. At these prices you can buy two and give the one that doesn't fit give it to your neighbor. Please keep in mind that all Clearance Sale Items are subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned.
